Quicksand is a series of work I created exploring cartoon characters dissolving into abstraction. Normally, I design in a sketchbook with one of those uni-ball vision pens. Then I bring that into Animate and re-draw it more carefully. I'll do some preliminary painting in Animate and then take it into Photoshop to add texture, finalize the painting and add shading.
